I really appreciated the fact that we looked beyond the idea of "hooking up" and applied it to a more general concern: the healthy vs. unhealthy nature of relationships today.  It was nice to see parents express that communication with their kids is so important, and that being loved and nurtured really is a basic need of kids today.  Therefore, fostering and encouraging healthy relationships is a fundamental goal for me when I'm working with students.  If we can create positive experiences for them now, they will be that more likely to form healthy relationships in the future!
